Hello World!

At the risk of sounding terribly original, Hello World! Hopefully this post is followed by more, but at least I will have figured out how to publish a Github page using the Hugo Bear Blog theme, which I like for its simplicity

I recently stumbled upon this video of Grace Hopper talking about visualising 1 nanosecond. Really cool bit of history and a great way of thinking about limits and performance
